A three-member investigation committee—comprising Assistant Collector Pulkit Singh, Deputy Collector Manisha Dandge, and Naib Tehsildar Neelam Lunawat—was formed after complaints surfaced in late 2023. The probe found instances of duplicate beneficiaries, forged documents, and fabricated lists submitted by village-level officials including Talathis and Gram Sevaks across 75 to 80 villages in Ambad and Ghansawangi talukas.
