Sambhaji Bhide, founder of Shiv Pratishthan Hindustan, was bitten by a dog late at night in Sangli’s Mali Galli area. The incident occurred around 11 PM while he was returning home after attending a dinner at a follower’s residence. The dog bit his left leg, and Bhide was treated at a government hospital.

The Supreme Court had stated that once bills are re-passed by the legislature, the Governor must assent and cannot forward them to the President.
